1672: Heinrich Schütz (87) worked most of Europe, including in the court of Prince Christian of Denmark and the court of Prince Johann Georg (stroke)

1893: Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky (53) Russia composer, pianist of often dramatic, richly expressive works, including the symphony Romeo and Juliet, the ballets Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, and the opera Eugene Onegin.(cholera)

1965: Clarence Williams (67) jazz pianist, composer, promoter, theatrical producer ().
